Pets are really bad outside of gimmicks, really. They aren't efficient to bring at all, but if you really want to...
Ebon Dust Aura
Volley
Distracting Shot
Heart of Fury
Charm Animal
Comfort Animal
Whatever here
Res
or
Aura of Holy Might
Vow of Strength
Heket's Rampage
Charm Animal
Comfort Animal
No Skill
No Skill
Res
If you have Great Dwarf Weapon, you might aswell bring it. I also don't think pet attacks count to Vow of Strength, but I can't really confirm this right now.

I would go
wounding strike,
aura of holymight,
attackers insight
reap impuraties,
chilling victory,
charm pet/animal ( whatever its called)
comfort pet/animal( whatever its called)
rez (optinal) and i would put poisoness bite for more condits
Lol not saying this will be effective, just looks fun

I would really advise against it because both above builds are not investing at all in the pets, just wasting att points on them, but yeah either of those should worl thought you will be flamed to hell for bringing one into a PuG, cause it really is a very stupid idea, srry.

Vow of Strength is probably the only dervish build apart from now irrelevant Ursan bars where it makes sense to bring a pet along. Dervishes are usually starved too much for skill slots to justify it.

Vow of Strength is garbage now after the last update I'd avoid that skill at all costs.
This is a build I use whenever I feel like having my pet along. It's decent enough...
1. Asura Scan
2. Attacker's Insight
3. Wounding Strike
4. Mystic Sweep
5. Aura of Holy Might
6. Never Rampage Alone
7. Comfort Animal
8. Charm Animal

Oh crap, I forgot it got updated. It was already a pretty weak skill as it was, but this just dealt the finishing blow to it.

Pets are bad. no arguing with that. they basically take 2 skills off of your bar without adding much of anything.
If you feel the need to take a pet though, make sure to bring Never Rampage Alone. the skill would be rediculously imba if it didnt require a pet.

For fun, I run something like this in NM:
Great Dwarf Armor
Aura of Holy Might
Zealous Renewal
Victorious Sweep
Wounding Strike (E)
Never Rampage Alone
Comfort Animal
Charm Animal
Is it that effective? Na, it's pretty mediocre. However, it's a pretty balanced build has decent survivability and decent DPS. Used it for leveling up my pet, hope it helps you some.

hemophiliac and a chainsaw.
oh wait, by the thread title i thought we were listing things that don't fit together, but upon further reading.
tyla's first one seems to be the only semi-viable option, and that's a pve only.
and they said it best, not so good outside of gimmicks.

Hm, I forgot about the update. That makes it really hard to fit into a party (including H/H), considering if you aren't using conditions you're doing yourself a big disservice.
Nonetheless, the build that used to work was pretty much what Tyla posted (second post of this thread); key skills were VoS, Aura of Holy Might, Heket's Rampage, preferably something like I Am The Strongest or Great Dwarf Weapon and Asuran Scan also. Either way it left enough skills to fit in a pet. It probably would still work if you ensured nobody in the party was running conditions - but what's the point of that?

Yah I'm not really sure what they were thinking when they changed VoS...
Hey lets take a mediocre elite and make it total crap?

PvE skills aside. I usually just help my Jagged Bones exploders and keep back with a bow, apply poison, and Toxicity. Maybe Power Shot or Heckets Rampage. I don't bother with rezzing my pet because obviously I am not helping the team much anyhow.
I <3 my croc on my Dervish though, it's just fun to have.
Oh and the only really good PvE build pet would be, uh. Ursan + whatever + pet skills. IIRC your pet doesn't dissappear when you go into Ursan.

Yah the only problem is that Ursan is pure crap now so I would suggest you put that in the bad idea pile.

I've run something similar...very similar except that I use Asuran Scan instead of Aura of Holy Might and the other elite sycthe attack instead of wounding strike, and my pet is the Phoenix from the end game of Factions. I just wanted it for the 'bling' factor. It was fun but after I leveled it I stuck the pet in my hall of monuments and rarely take it out.
